CCCU History
Community Choice Credit Union had its small beginning on October 9, 1952. It was established as SD14 Federal Credit Union and was located in the basement of one of our member's home. We then moved to an office in the Administration Building for Adams City High School, and from there to a house located at 4675 E. 69th Avenue in Commerce City.
Some significant changes over the years since then have been:

| 02-03-95 | | Field of membership expanded to include students of School District 14 |
| 10-29-96 | | Approved as "Community" chartered credit union |
| 10-29-96 | | Field of Membership expanded to include all Commerce City residents |
| 08-01-97 | | Name changed to Community Choice Credit Union |
| 07-31-02 | | Remodel and expansion of building at 6921 E. 72nd Avenue completed |
| 10-31-04 | | Merged with First Medical Credit Union |
| 01-01-09 | | Merged with NE Denver Federal Credit Union |

Our Credit Union with humble beginnings now boasts $59.3 million in assets and more than 6,167 members (as of June 2018) and is still growing! We have a dedicated management team with a vision. We will continue to explore innovative avenues of growth and development while promoting the Credit Union philosophy of "People Helping People.
